WWE Superstars Review for 2/4/10

Last night's Superstars featured (like last week) two matches from Raw and one from SmackDown - further proof why ECW is the lame-duck brand in the WWE. Click "Read More to read the full results plus my opinions:

Alicia Fox(2-2-0) and Katie Lea Burchill(1-2-0) def. Kelly Kelly(0-3-0) and Eve Torres(2-2-0)

*Amp's Thoughts: I really don't mind Divas matches - perfect time for a piss break. Seriously though, Katie Lea Burchill is currently portraying the "Gothic witch" gimmick, and considering that two of her three matches this year have been on Superstars, clearly she is either at that stage where creative has nothing for her (in which case expect her to be released in the next 6 months), or they're setting up for some kind of push (yeah, right).

Evan Bourne(1-2-0) def. Carlito(0-3-0)

*Amp's Thoughts: Remember back in 2005 when Carlito was one of the top midcard heels on Raw and was feuding for the Intercontinental Championship with Ric Flair? Yeah, me neither. Matt "Evan Bourne" Sydal is just a small man in a big man's world - add to that the fact that he can't talk worth sh*t on the mic and you get a midcard babyface at its best.

John Morrison(2-3-0), Matt Hardy(2-4-0), and The Great Khali(3-1-0) def. Drew McIntyre(2-2-0), D.H.Smith(2-3-0), and Tyson Kidd(1-3-0)

*Amp's Thoughts: John Morrison deserves MUCH better than this - teaming with Matt "SmackDown jobber extraordinare" Hardy and Mr "Can't Work" himself, Khali. Actually, Drew McIntyre and The Hart Dynasty also deserve better than this...
