My New Website!

Figured I'd post this here first. I have once again been inspired by Retro - this time to create my own website via Weebly. There I intend to archive all my work on one central location - INCLUDING all of my older videos. Also, I will be archiving my wrestling reviews from here. The site is a work in progress, but I hope to add two or three projects a day until I've got it all caught up.

Final results for the Elimination Chamber event.

Figured I'd give my thoughts on the four matches listed on the card for tonight's Elimination Chamber event. Remember that there may be more matches added at the last minute:

1. Drew McIntyre vs. Kane --> Intercontinental Championship

*Thoughts: You gotta remember that Glen Jacobs (Kane) is on the tail-end of his career. In fact, it was rumored last June that he was set to retire, but then (apparently) chose to come back. That, combined with the fact that he has always wanted to help put over the young stars, likely means that he won't be winning the IC title again tonight. Expect either a clean win for McIntyre, or perhaps a Dolph Ziggler run-in (him and Kane have feuded enough - could happen).

Expected Winner: Drew McIntyre


2. Gail Kim vs. Maryse --> Divas Championship

*Thoughts: I'm kind of torn on this one - I'd like to believe that Gail will win the Divas title tonight based on the roll that creative has her on (booking her to start the year 6-0), but the fact that she IS undefeated this year also likely means that they want her to lose clean tonight. Hard to say really.

Expected Winner: Maryse


3. Sheamus/Cena/Orton/Kingston/Triple H/DeBiase --> WWE Championship

*Thoughts: This one is REALLY hard to call. So instead of just picking a winner, I'm going to give you my expected WrestleMania main event scenarios for each (if they win):

If Sheamus Wins: Bet on Sheamus vs. Triple H or Cena at Mania.

If Cena Wins: Sheamus will invoke his rematch clause - Cena vs. Sheamus

If Orton Wins: Good chance you'll see Orton vs DeBiase and/or Sheamus

If Kingston Wins: Don't bet on it. Kingston vs. Sheamus and/or Orton if it does happen.

If Triple H Wins: He'll face his protege Sheamus.

If DeBiase Wins: It'll probably be DeBiase vs Orton.

Expected Winner: Either Sheamus or Triple H


4. Undertaker/Morrison(?)/Punk/Jericho/Mysterio/R-Truth --> World Heavyweight Title

If Undertaker Wins: Expect 'Taker vs. Edge (AGAIN)

If Morrison Wins: He'll probably get replaced by Michaels, but if he doesn't, Morrison vs. Edge and/or Punk would be a good match.

If Michaels Wins: Assuming HBK DOES take Morrison's place, 'Taker will invoke his rematch clause - Michaels vs. 'Taker (which would be match of the night again)

If Punk Wins: Still expect Punk vs. Mysterio --> Hair (and title) vs. Mask

If Jericho Wins: No brainer - Jericho vs. Edge (another really good match)

If Mysterio Wins: Most likely Mysterio vs. 'Taker and/or Edge

If R-Truth Wins: Don't bet on it. If he DOES win, perhaps R-Truth vs. Punk

Expected Winner: Chris Jericho

New Upload Schedule

After the pitiful number of views that most of my latest videos have been getting, I've decided to go in a bit of a different direction with my channel. Starting today, there is a new schedule for uploading videos that I intend to stick to for as long as possible.

Tuesday to Friday:

*Amp Vs SMW Central
*An LP of a "Kaizo-style" ROM Hack
*An LP of a non-Mario game

These videos will be done with commentary.

Saturday to Monday:
*Amp Vs "The Torrent"
*Some other ROM Hack
These videos will NOT have commentary.

Therefore, as it stands, here are the current projects that are open:

As promised last night, I have started a new project - Amp Vs "The Torrent". Many of you may have heard of the torrent on the internet containing 277 Super Mario World ROM hacks, well I intend to play most of them for this new series. There will be no commentary for these, as I intend to update this series on days when I am unable to do commentary on my usual projects, so consider this new series a compensation for that.

ECW Review For 2/2/10

Tuesday night's ECW was punctuated by the announcement that most people had been anticipating for the last month or so - ECW will be taken off the air in three weeks and replaced by a new show that Vince McMahon himself said would be the "next evolution of the WWE". What will that evolution be I ask - are we going TV G next? Will it just be another re-hash of Sunday Night Heat, Velocity, Metal, Jakked, and all the other dumb "let's review the last week and have some jobbers get squashed by low-midcarders" shows that have been around for the last decade? Or will the WWE FINALLY do something right? It'll be a damn shame if in fact it ends up being a hit, since NO ONE has Sci Fi (oh sorry, I meant Sy Fy, or however the f*ck they spell it now). If they put any reasonable effort into this "New Show", it'll leave us all screaming "Why can't they do this on Raw?!?"

Welcome To My Little Space!

Hey guys, figured I'd start posting my stuff in an actual blog. History shows that when I upload more than one video per day, the ones that go up last get more hits - hopefully this will fix that.

Also, I will be posting my opinions on professional wrestling (mainly WWE but perhaps some other stuff too) - consider this to be the new home of Amp Talks Wrestling I guess (and yes, I closed that Dailymotion channel - I just didn't feel like wasting 20 minutes recording those)
